Name Replacement Mod for The Sims 3

What my mod includes:

- Lots of dark names, taken mostly from literature (e.g. Carmilla, Caspian, Tybalt, Ophelia)
-Plenty of mythology names - mostly greek and roman
-Names with dark meanings (e.g. Byron, Drake, Lethia, Ingram)
- Classy and everlasting names (e.g. John, Anna, Adam, Alice)
- Names from non-english countries, still common enough to fit even victorian world (Elise, Johan, Mariette, Antoine)
- Alternative variants for names (e.g. Alice/Alicia, Anne/Anna)
- Historical and actual last names, mostly english and english-sounding

What my mod does not include:

- Questionable, modern American names (like Montana, Kayleygh, Arizona, Timberland)
- Weird names (like Apple, Sincere, Lexus, Unique)
- popcultural names (like Xena, Anakin, Leia)
- questionable name variants (Jaidyn, Pheilipp, Yessikha, Willyem)

Male: Jack Hunter, Remus Crowley, Reginald Fawkes, Derek Sherlock, Louis Middleton, Sterling Corte, Lysander Devoe, Forrest Cornwell, Gabriel Noctus, Seth Knight, Cedric Crawford, Carlisle Willis, Edgar Burton, Sabre Lioncourt, Ruben Hawke, Castor Willis

Notes:
Please admit that some names on the mod list are intentionally doubled to add more realism (It happens quite rarely in game, but is possible.)

I tried to download this, but the mediafire link seems to only contain an unnamed file type. I tried it a few times, same result. I can't open it! Could you perhaps reupload it as a package or sims3pack?

Ah, sorry - it's my fault! It's a .rar file, so the only thing to do is to add ".rar" at the end of the filename and extract. I accidentally deleted it :<

Sorry to be a bother, but I REALLY want this awesomeness in my game and I just can't download it! I'm having the same issue as xamaris. I tried adding ".rar" at the end of the file like you said above and when I try to open the .rar I get a pop up that the file is "corrupt or unsupported". Any suggestions?

EDIT: I downloaded the file as is and just added ".package" to the end of the file after download. It seems to have worked as the file's thumbnail changed from blank to a little TS3 logo. I just have to go into the game and test it out, I will let you know if this works

This is wonderful, and I don't know how it took me so long to find it! However, I'd just like to clarify how this works - does this replace the names of existing Sims, or only new Sims?

Sorry for responding that late, I was sure that I did it already...
It replaces only the names of newly generated sims. Already existing sims will keep their names.
