I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish that house I was redecorating now... or anyone who uses it will also have to use awesomemod so all the CC will work/show up the way the patch messed a lot of stuff up. I had the top floor mostly done. :/ ..

I was interested in the house, and I definitely use AM.  If you can finish it, I'd love to have it.

I would be interested too. I absolutely fail at making houses, and I love the ones other people make. However, I don't use awesomemod, nor do I think I will. (vanilla game, with the exception of CAS, pattern, and object cc, which is already making my game slow)

So I dunno if you would make a version that doesn't need awesomemod? I guess that's not possible.

EDITZ: Thank you to all of the people who downloaded my vintage gown! I have now fixed the discoloration problems, and it only looks like, 1000000000x better. >_<

(the light spot on the dress is from the shadows of the trees she was standing under)

Here is the new download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?jnkll55ojm2

If you want to replace the original file, it was called vindress2.package, just rename this one the same and stick it in your packages folder.

aikea-guinea, those records are fantastic.

******

You know that lady who lives down the street? The one who has thirty cats and never talks to anyone? Well, here's her house:

Front yard:

Living room:

Kitchen:

Bedroom:

Spare room:

Street view:

Floor plan:

It's on a 30x30 lot, and costs 37,448 furnished/21,519 unfurnished. I have used objects and patterns from World Adventures in this, if you don't have WA, you can still download this house, those things just won't show up.

CC shopping list:

Patterns and decor from Kitty Klan: the Louis Wain Anthro-cats paintings (which were the inspiration for this house), and the Creepy Vintage food ads, both in the Decor section. Also, all patterns - I think I managed to use every single one of them in this house - Faded Florals, Grungy Vintage, Bizarre Vintage Kids, and (Sub)Culture.

Patterns from Club Crimsyn: The carpet, masonry, paint, slate, tile, wood and rust patterns.

From lemoncandy at MTS:
Shabby Living Room Set
Living room clutter
Study clutter
Indoor Plants 1
Indoor Plants 2
Getting Messy - More Clutter
Useless Objects

From BabaYaga at MTS:
Clutter, Lovely Clutter
Artsy-Fartsy Clutter
Patternable/Recolorable Decorative Plates and Custom Patterns

Light switches from The Verona Relapse

From here at GoS:
Shaking Like Milk - Quilted Pattern Plus Bonus Textures by aikea-guinea
Strange - Knit Patterns for TS3, plus bonus wool by aikea-guinea

And from this very thread, Uninformed Enlightenment: Vintage Books for TS3, and Records a go-go, both by aikea-guinea

Whew. I think that's everything. Again, if you don't have some of these, it won't break your game, they just won't show up.

Since I wanted to play-test this house, I went ahead and made a crazy cat lady to live in it, so I thought I'd upload her as well:

Traits: Absent Minded, Clumsy, Dislikes Children, Frugal, Insane.

CC:
From Kitty Klan - Mismatched short socks, in the Boutique section
Quite a few of the patterns linked above were used for her clothes.
I also use aikea-guinea's default replacement skintone and eyes from Club Crimsyn

Thank you, all of you. I can't believe how long I worked on it - I think it's all the patterns. I spent a lot of time changing the colors to just what I wanted.

I probably forgot to mention, though - the reason Myrna's crazy? All the cats are missing.  Big Grin

Emhpb - the house is a Sims3pack, I'm not sure but I think that's the only way to share a house. I'll go ahead and add a Sims3pack version of Myrna.
+++edit+++
Added the Sims3pack version of Myrna. The nice thing about TS3 is you don't have to play her - just put her in your neighborhood and let her run around and be crazy.  Cheesy

YES,  I simply don't understand why they weren't included (well wait... they would have earned less money).
I miss pets and aliens SO much.
