Thank you very much for this set, aikea-guinea! Awesome as always, I don't know what else to say.

Is paper supposed to magically wrap around rock and leave it immobile? Why the hell can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody. A rock would tear that shit up in 2 seconds. When I play rock paper scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say, oh shit I'm sorry, I thought paper would protect you, you asshole."

Thanks again, everyone!

Last theme update from me for a bit... Just three simple, rusty patterns for you to grunge up things that were meant to be pretty.

This one doesn't tile quite as nicely as the other two, but should be good for smaller objects.

All three are found under 'Metal,' and have three color channels for adding variety.  Shown above in their default colors.  Textures from Filterforge.  Do whatever you want with these, just keep them off paysites!  Toll due, bad dream come true.  I lie dead, gone under red sky.

Thanks so much, everyone!

Last theme update from me for a bit

No, don't stop! We be needin' MOAR Aikea awesomeness!  Tongue

Well, I'll make more stuff for this theme eventually (especially now that I've figured out how to make walls without having 2094829304823 extra thumbnails); I need to take a break and make some prizes for Nymphy's contest, for one.  *coughcough*Enter it!*coughcough*

Also, I feel kinda really weird being the only person posting things in this thread.   Embarrassed

+++++++++++++++++

I... uh... made another set.   Embarrassed  I converted these super-fast this afternoon to use in my entry for the Room With a View contest and thought I'd go ahead and upload them for the theme while I was at it.  These are some items I took from the Silent Hill set that was converted for TS2.  None of them are recolorable at this time, but I may go back eventually and see about cleaning them up.  Or not.  Depends on my memory and laziness levels.

The set includes the following objects (click for individual previews):

At any rate, they're all found under Decorative - Misc, and range in price from 10 simoleons to 50.  I can't remember which is what.  Do whatever you want with these, just don't claim you made them and keep them off paysites.  Nobody needs anyone, they don't even just pretend.

Thanks Aikea, and for what it's worth, I've enjoyed the Aikea Guinea memorial April/May Grunge Theme thread. ;-D As much as I'd love to see other creators contribute, it's always like Christmas morning when you post something new. <3

That's kind of funny you should mention being the main proprietor of this thread, someone on My Sims 3 Blog commented that the internet is being spoiled with your goodies this month  Big Grin

But I agree, they're all great, and you shouldn't feel weird.

Haha, that was me because it's the truth. Grin

And Aikea, you shouldn't feel weird at all.  People have their fortes and you are inspired this month.  Nothing wrong with that.  Go with it!  Everything is stunning!

I'm sorry I haven't done anything, but I've been incredibly busy with finals.. and I'm traveling out of the country next month. I haven't even gotten to really play much since February. But I, like everyone else, really do appreciate the effort you have put forth this month Aikea.

You are without doubt a brilliant creator. Everything you make is just stunning - thank you.
I second this. Thank you for your time, effort, frustration, and whatever creepies you have to fight off when a slight tweak ends up causing something you're working on to look like a hollow nightmare of balled up Sim.
