The votes are in, and this time around the bi-monthly winner was Retro/Pinup - oh my!  Let's get crackin' with some alluring retro creations, daddy-o.

Also, remember we already had a vintage theme so try to keep items for this theme more mid-century related.

Awesome. I love this pic. If I had any talent at all I would give this a go myself.

Lovely! I'll admit to recently re-installing The Sims 3 the other day... it's actually pretty good.

Those are great Smiley
I'm thinking about doing some betty page posters as cliche as that sounds, but I figure it would be the easiest thing to do since I'm new to creating.
I hope someone makes a pin up bathing suit D:

Please do them! I'll be great because Bettie Page is never cliche. Wink

I'm working on a 1963 Ranch style house at the moment and it'll be ready to post here soon. I adore this theme.

I'm so excited. I had entire 50's neighborhoods, like Roswell and my grandparents as teenagers in Cleveland (In TS2). I'll look for some screen shots to boost people's inspirations.  I may or may not find them. I may or may not remember to look.

I just wanted to post a couple pics of the sim I made to kickstart my 50's week. I plan to make a drive-in movie theater, because I'm lazy and I can't work meshes. Regardless, thought I'd get people a little pumped up. Okay, that's an overstatement. I'll get you all contented.  :woohoo:

This is Peggy Poop (Betty Boop, lulz).

I'll work on those photography skills. In the meantime... stay classy, GoS.

EDIT: Would people even download a fifties house if I uploaded it? Maybe I'll do it anyways... *sneaks away to laboratory*
