^ Kicker friendly! ^

Are you tormented by a love of Victorian wallpaper, yet overwhelmed by its sheer gaudiness? Does the name 'William Morris' send you into artgasming fits? Do you just really like pretty stuff?!

Well, that makes two of us. Pull up a chair.

This is a set of 20 walls, treating (mostly) Victorian-style wallpaper designs as trim, rather than something to slather an entire wall with. They're done on a mix of white and beige, with plain walls to round out the look. The designs are by William Morris, Walter Crane, and Bradbury & Bradbury (who are not nearly as dead as the other two). You'll find them under Paint, Wallpaper, or Paneling, where appropriate.

My usual policy of 'paysites suck' applies, but do whatever you want with these. Crediting me is rather unnecessary, though it'd be good of you to credit the original relevant artist if you use the patterns for other things.

Extra love to: muspellsheimr, for being so kind as to do the Homecrafter fiddling when I couldn't install the blasted thing.

This is a brilliant idea! Would you mind if I used this concept to make some trimmed walls with other patterns, too? Some of my overly-bright and obnoxious Colour Lovers wallpaper patterns would make great trim, maybe as the bottom half of a wall with a chair rail... *plots*

Heavens no, go right ahead!

The Bradbury & Bradbury site actually has a lot more designs I didn't use--some due to personal taste, others because their previews didn't quite cover enough of the design for me to make a workable tiled version. Lots of art deco and mid-century designs.

Thank you! And thank you for linking me to Bradbury & Bradbury, so I can spend the next few minutes coveting the damask wallpapers.  Drool Oh well, maybe my Sims can have them...  Grin

Lovely wallset!
